1. Partnership = Partner Management
- Based on a long-term mutual economical success
- Active support and guidance of franchisee on sales, marketing, merchandising, organizational topics and daily business
- Proposal of a “Starter-Set”

- In depth training of franchisee staff on collection, sales strategies and merchandising: “training on the job” concept

2. Collection / Order
Pre-Order: SCHÖPS guarantees a stylish and modern collection due to 10 delivery times per year. Order taking for franchisee twice per year in headquarter showroom in Vienna.
First-Order: SCHÖPS prepares a recommendation for the first order of the franchisee based on the best-sellers and know-how. For the second order the franchisee is open to decide for the fashion collection.
- Re-Order: SCHÖPS offers the franchisee to re-order highlights out of the fashion collection based on the stock availability.
3. Store Concept
- SCHÖPS offers the franchisee to take advantage of the experienced internal shop designer
- The Shop design must go in line with the general CI- and CD-guidelines and the new concept of the SCHÖPS stores
- The total investments for a SCHÖPS store amounts to approximately EUR 850,- per sqm (depends on local conditions and includes all costs: lighting, furniture, interior equipment, decor, floor, etc.)
4. Franchise Requirements
- Minimum 100 sqm store size in top location plus stock room for re-assorting
- Self-standing store located in shopping street, in pedestrian area or in shopping center
- Textile brand environment with high client frequency
- Minimum 6 meters window space with two separate windows
- Trained and competent staff
- Image, design and quality guidelines must be met (CI and CD)
- Reporting used as “partnership for more profit”
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
5. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
- SCHÖPS offers the franchisee an EDI system
- EDI is based on the exchange of business data in order to support the franchisee
- With the help of EDI the internal and external business process can be improved and can be constructed more efficient based on a pre-determined benchmarking system
- EDI reduces administrative efforts and costs
- EDI supports the management of the fashion collection inside the shop
6. Ideal Attributes of Franchisee
- Franchisee should have a good reputation and financial stability and should be competent in the field of franchising and textile goods
- Our preferred partner concept would be primarily based on „master franchising“ but can also be a direct franchisee with potential for more
- Franchisee should have a good commercial knowledge of the local consumer market and a good network
- The location of the franchisee should be in a textile brand or consumer goods environment with high client frequency
- Franchisee should be pro-active in building-up and establishing the brand within the region
- Franchisee should be actively participating in this „partnership for profit
- Franchisee should have an entrepreneurial and team spirit
- Franchisee should convince with outstanding performance, openness, loyalty, commitment, customer/service orientation and should be target achievement driven
